Welcome to the Voting Station for SA's best Bands. We are giving you the chance to express opinion by voting for your favourite SA bands. We want Big Concerts to see who the popular bands are and who deserves to be at Coke Fest 2009!This Voting Poll is basically a guide for Big Concerts so the bands with the most votes is not promised a spot in Coke Fest 2009. What we are doing here is giving Big concerts something to think about! Jacques here, Coke Fest this year was AWESOME... I would like to see Gently Scar'd there next year though!

They are currently nominated for a SAMA.
They have a few thousand fans on Facebook on their profile and group pages.
They recently won the Best Group award (voted for by viewers) on MK, the South African music channel on DSTV.
They are South Africa's answer to Muse and they are bloody good live.
Also, there are no Afrikaans bands to vote for, what the hell!?
There are a few up and coming bands that would really make South Africa proud to grace the same stage as huge international artists...
CAT STRING THEORY
are one of these bands and they are set to take SA by storm. They should definitely be added to the voting poll and may leave a few people surprised yet excited when they rock Coke Fest.

CF 09 - FANS OF The Beams.
The Beams have been around for long enough to have shown that they have what it takes to make an impact on the South African music market. They have released an EP and have traveled the country extensively, playing at multiple festivals. They are a tight package with enough talent to leave an impression on the crowd and are deserved of a place in the Coke Fest 2009 line-up.

It's been two years now since I've been whingeing about getting Chromium as part of the South African acts on CokeFest. Chromium is perfect. Their music isn't "beige" like a lot of the crap that's been served up for hard core rockfans. Get Chromium on and see how the standards skyrocket for anybody else who performs before and after them.

Its so nice to see you all getting into it on this blog. It's really inspiring for bands to see their fans go so wild about them.
It shows South Africa has talent!
But If you are a fan of and they are not on the poll and you want on them poll please please please dont just post up the

Post it up in the discussion area of the Cokefest 2009 - Bring These SA BANDS facebook group as every other people that now have their bands on the poll have done. In this way bands can read what their fans have to write about them.
